Some of the comment spam I get on this site is bewildering, but this one takes the biscuit. Given that most comment spam attempts to boost the spammer’s Google PageRank™ by inserting links to their own sites, I just can’t see the motivation for this:

Many, many blogs have been spammed by this.

Also noted at Cynical-C and Classical Values. Theories include testing for sites lax comment approval policies (to sell to other spammers), and an attempt to get people blacklist Google.
