I’m told there is one family by the name of Bodoni living in Budapest. They may be a long lost relative of mine. I’m unable to track them except perhaps through your response to this particular (fortunate) url. Please tell me how you arrived at that name for your font; do you know a Bodoni in Budapest? Please respond.

My font was an adaption of an existing typeface called Bodoni — but slightly changed, hence Bodoni Mutant.

The Bodoni typeface was named after it’s creator, Giambattista Bodoni. There’s a good summary of the history of the font here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodoni

So I don’t know of any people called Bodoni in Budapest! Good luck with your investigations.
