The options for choosing which characters of fonts to embed have been expanded in the new Flash MX 2004 (Flash 7). The font embedding problem I lost hair and hours over last month seems to be fixed with this new release. I’m happier now I can author on MacOS X and “get typography right”.

greetings– I’m having a Flash font issue (with MX)– everytime I reload my operating system (thus reloading flash MX), when I open my flash files made with the previous installation of flash, I have a pop-up box asking about using the default font or not— This is using the same cd–loading flash mx– but with different installations, something happens with the way the text is read– It’s almost as if the font I used that came with the program in the previous installation–isn’t there with this installation—same installer! HELP!!
